Dua Qunoot | The Right Way To Perform Witr in Isha Prayers

Dua Qunoot (Dua Kunut) is a dua that you recite in the Isha prayers while you offer witr pray. Witr are three rakats of prayers that we offer in Isha. Dua for Witr you recite in third rakat of Witr.

Every Muslim should memorize this dua because it is essential part of daily Isha prayers.

اَللَّهُمَّ إنا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ وَنُثْنِئْ عَلَيْكَ الخَيْرَ وَنَشْكُرُكَ وَلَا نَكْفُرُكَ وَنَخْلَعُ وَنَتْرُكُ مَنْ ئَّفْجُرُكَ اَللَّهُمَّ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَلَكَ نُصَلِّئ وَنَسْجُدُ وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعأئ وَنَحْفِدُ وَنَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخْشآئ عَذَابَكَ إِنَّ عَذَابَكَ بِالكُفَّارِ مُلْحَقٌ

Dua E Qunoot in English (Dua for Witr)

O Allah! We seek help from you and we seek forgiveness from You and we believe in You and trust in You and describe Your virtues and thank You and are not ungrateful.

We separate and abhor him who disobeys You. O Allah! You alone do we worship and for You alone do we offer prayers and bow down ourselves before you and run towards You and stay present in your service. We hope for Your mercy and fear Your punishment,

Indeed, your punishment is going to reach disbelievers.

Dua Qunoot In Urdu Translation

اے اللہ! ہم تجھ ہی سے مدد مانگتے ہیں اور ہم تجھ ہی سے بخشش چاہتے ہیں اور تجھ ہی پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور تجھ ہی پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں اور تیری خوبیاں بیان کرتے ہیں اور تیرا شکر ادا کرتے ہیں اور ناشکری نہیں کرتے۔ ہم علیحدگی اور بیزاری اختیار کرتے ہیں، اس سے جو تیری نافرمانی کرے۔اے اللہ !تجھ ہی کوہم پُوجتے ہیں اور تیرے ہی لیے ہم نمازیں پڑھتے ہیں اور سجدہ کرتے ہیں اور تیری طرف دوڑتے ہیں اور خدمت میں حاضر ہیں اور تیری رحمت کے امید وار ہیں اور تیرے عذاب سے ڈرتے ہیں، یقینا تیرا عذاب کافروں کو پہنچنے والا ہے۔

ऐ अल्लाह! हम आपसे मदद मांगते हैं और हम आपसे क्षमा मांगते हैं और हम आप पर विश्वास करते हैं और आप पर भरोसा करते हैं और आपके गुणों का वर्णन करते हैं और आपको धन्यवाद देते हैं और कृतघ्न नहीं हैं।

हम उसे अलग करते हैं और उससे घृणा करते हैं जो तुम्हारी अवज्ञा करता है। ऐ अल्लाह! केवल तुम ही हम आराधना करते हैं और केवल तुम्हारे लिए ही हम प्रार्थना करते हैं और तुम्हारे सामने खुद को झुकाते हैं और तुम्हारी ओर दौड़ते हैं और तुम्हारी सेवा में उपस्थित रहते हैं। हम आपकी दया की आशा करते हैं और आपकी सजा से डरते हैं,

वास्तव में, आपकी सजा काफिरों तक पहुंचने वाली है।

Ya Allah! ham tujh hi se madad mangte hain aur ham tujh hi se maafi chahte hain aur tujh hi per eman late hain aur tujh hi per bharosa karte hain aur teri khoobiyan bayan karte hain aur tera shukar ada karte hain aur teri nashukri nahi karte.

Ham alag hote hain aur bezar hote hain us se jo teri nafarmani kare. Witr Prayers | Witr Namaz

Witr prayer is performed after the Isha prayer, and it is the last prayer of the day. It is considered as a voluntary (Sunnah) prayer but is highly recommended.

Witr is considered important part of Isha prayers and prophet Mohammad used to pray it regularly.

Witr is performed in odd number of rakats. Generally, 3 rakats are offered but when you are travelling, and you have to offer short prayers then you offer only 1 rakat of witr.

How to use Qunoot Dua in Witr Prayer (Witr Namaz)

In Isha prayers you have to offer three rakat of witr. In the last rakat of witr you recite Dua Qunoot. Following are the steps to include Dua Qunoot in your prayers

  • Start your Witr Prayers
  • Complete two rakats of Witr
  • In third rakat, when you finish Surah Fatiha and other surah you say your takbeer
  • You fold your hands and in Qiyaam you recite Qunoot Dua
  • After finishing Qunoot Dua, you complete your rakat with ruku, sajud, Altahiyat and Salam
